Bathing suit season is upon us! As a Florida resident swim wear is quite a crucial part of my wardrobe during the warmer months (which is basically all year round!). But the issue I come across is finding cute,stylish pieces at a good inexpensive price point. There are things I’ll spend money on (hello handbags and shoes!). However, the idea of spending more than $50 on swim wear makes me cringe.
I like being able to wear different styles, designs and patterns. I think bathing suits are fun! Swim wear allows you to be try different trends and mix up things.
Back in the day, Target was my go to for swim and it still really is. They have so many great styles, it’s accessible AND it’s affordable. But with on-line shopping, bikini buying has been much easier. I feel like one site that many people sleep on when it comes to swim is actually AMAZON. Guys, Amazon has some amazing suits. And better yet, the prices are AFFORDABLE. Say it with me: Swim wear doesn’t need to cost an arm and a leg.

I’m a HUGE fan of high waisted bikinis. For me, especially, I think they are very flattering for my body type. I like this retro style with the strips mixed with the high waisted bottoms. I think the floral detail on the top is so pretty.

The straps on the top are detachable which is nice. I recommend the bottoms with the little cutout, they’re super flattering.
