So earlier this month I was SUPER disappointed with the Grammy’s red carpet looks, and disappointed is really an understatement. I generally love to do a best dressed list for the Grammy’s but it was a struggle to even name THREE looks I liked. I don’t see any good in doing a worst dress either. I mean who cares, everyone misses the mark once and awhile.
With that being said, I wasn’t too excited for the Oscars red carpet because my expectations weren’t so high. I guess I’m glad I set the bar low because I was actually VERY impressed with some of the looks this year.
Here are my top 5 looks:
Hailee Steinfeld in this Ralph & Russo dress is pure perfection to me. It’s age appropriate, stunning and probably my favorite look of the night.
Emma Roberts is KILLING it in this vintage Armani number. It’s simple yet chic. Plus this old Hollywood vibe is really working for her. I feel like Roberts was feeling inspired from another famous Emma….
What’s my best dressed list without Emma Stone? This gold Givenchy dress is everything PLUS more.
Obviously Armani was killing it on the red carpet! Viola Davis looks absolutely GLOWING, from the perfect makeup, hair to this beautiful dress, Davis was a true star on the red carpet tonight. This women can do no wrong.
I wasn’t quite sure how I felt about this at first. But the more I looked at her, the more this grew on me and I ended up falling in love. This Kaufman Franco dress fits her like a glove.
There were a few other looks like grabbed my attention but these were my absolute favorites. Which looks did you love? Any you hated?

My personal favorite was Nicole Kidman! I loved how she embraced the her fair palette but wasn’t afraid of a bold red lip with complimenting red earrings. Very elegant and classy.
I would have liked Biel’s getup more if she went without the necklace – it made it feel too cluttered and overdone in my opinion, but that dress was gorgeous! <3
