Affordable Chic Home Decor Under $40: Update Your Space on a Budget
I recently did a post sharing some boho inspired home decor under $40 here. I received some awesome feedback and got some new traffic to my blog through that post. I’m so happy that you guys loved it! With all this extra time on my hands, I’ve been wanting to change up my home. So I’ve been doing a lot of lurking on Pinterest and Instagram for some home inspo.
But like mentioned before, I believe you don’t need to spend an arm and a leg to have beautiful home decor. I’m someone that like to change things up quite often so I don’t want to spend a lot (with the expectation of some key pieces that I believe are worth the splurge).
I wanted to share some more home decor finds with you today, all of which are under $40 again. Usually when I’m roaming around Homegoods or Target, I stick to items that are under $40. I wanted to apply that same principle online when browsing.
Chic Home Decor Under $40
1. White and Gold Marble Canvas: $33.99
I’m a huge fan of marble style prints like this. I think they look chic and can really bring together a look. Some of these marble style canvas can be pretty pricey so finding this style under $100 was a nice score.
2. Small Dip Bowls: on sale for $15.99
I love these small dip bowls by AERIN Fairfield at Williams-Sonoma and at $16 they are a steal. With spring here and summer approaching, a lot of us spend more times outdoors. And with us currently being self quarantined, spending time in our backyards and patios can be a luxury. Having these small dip bowls can make our time outside feel a bit more chic. You can also use them for little trinket storage, it’s up to you! I like using them with a cheese board for dips and dried fruit or pickles!
3. Vogue on Christian Dior Coffee table book: $20
I absolutely love coffee table books but I hate the hefty price tags some of them carry. I usually get mine on line or at Homegoods. This Christian Dior is perfectly glamorous at just the right price!
4. Capri Blue Volcano Candle: $30
Okay, so $30 for a candle is hefty. BUT if there is one candle you need in your home it’s the Capri Blue Volcano Candle. This is one I don’t mind spending a little bit more money on. If you haven’t smelled it, the best way I can describe it is that it’s a fresh scent of tropical fruit and citrus. It’s fresh and fruity without being too sweet. It also burns smooth. My problem with spending less money on candles is that a lot of times, cheaper candles burn all weird and uneven…. I hate when they burn uneven!
5. Gold and marble pedestal stand: Small $29.99 and the large for $39.99
How chic are these pedestal stands! They are great on a coffee table, on your dining room table, kitchen counter or even on your vanity or bathroom counter. There are two different sizes at different prices. Personally, I like these for a dining room table, using them as a stand for a flower vase and coasters.
6. Rose gold pillow: $15.99
Rose gold pillow… need I say more?
7. Sea grass basket: $26.99
I love these baskets for storing extra throw blankets and pet toys. Target has some really cute ones but this one was my favorite.
8. Three piece gold taper candle set: $24.99
This gold taper candle set is great for the living room. These would be beautiful on a coffee table or on a fireplace mantle. Also great for the dining room.
Let me guys know if there are any particular pieces you’d like for me to find at inexpensive prices or a particular style you’re interested in seeing. I’ll have another round up this weekend so stay tuned!
What piece do you like? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
Until next time,
