Confession: I have an obsession with eye shadow palettes. From the moment I bought the first Urban Decay Naked Palette, I was hooked! I have WAY too many, more than one girl could ever need. I’ve justified my purchases now as, “I collect palettes! I need it for my collection!”
Like a true makeup addict, I’m always trying to justify my purchases. 😛
The past couple weeks though I’ve found myself reaching for three palettes constantly. I either use all three to create a look but at least one of these is being used on a daily basis.
My first love is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Palette. I wasn’t initially impressed by this palette but soon after seeing so many beautiful looks using this on Instagram and Youtube, I bite the bullet and went for it. I will say this is probably my favorite of the three as the shadows are of wonderful quality. I tend to use this one for my everyday looks. I will say I hate the packaging though. I think it’s cheap and not Anastasia BH quality. I particularly dislike the velvet outside because it collects and picks up a lot of dust and dirt! YUCK!
Too Faced can do noooo wrong! While the Anastasia one is my favorite at the moment, this Too Faced Sweet Peach palette is one of my all time favorites. When I talk about packaging, this is what I’m talking about! This is stellar packaging that lasts! For only a couple bucks more, this Too Faced palette BEATS Anastasia’s packaging quality. I LOVE the gold shade in the Kylie Jenner Burgundy palette. I tend to use this for my nights out. It gives me a different smokey eye. Again, for the price the packaging is just bad. It’s so cheap in my opinion. There are less expensive palettes that have better packaging than this. Too Faced just owns the packaging game.

I like all the Kylie palettes. I know some of her other products have been meh for me but her shadows are some of my favorites. <3
I love the lip kits; especially the liners! I bought the peach palette but haven’t really played with it much; maybe i’ll have to dig it out!
