I don’t know about where you guys are at, but here in Florida the summer heat is here. One of my biggest hurdles when it comes to the heat is my hair. It’s absolutely way too hot for me to keep my hair down but when I put it up, I want fuller looking hair.
I’ve played around with ponytail hair extensions to help achieve that full look that I want. INH Hair extensions have been the best I’ve come across and I want to share how easy they are to use (and how amazing they look!).
The INH Hair ponytail comes with a cute non static satin bag for storing your hair and 2 bobby pins.
Easy Summer Ponytail
So to start, I make sure my hair is tangle free and brushed through.
I like to add dry shampoo to my roots to give my hair a little extra texture. I have pretty slick hair and when I put my hair up adding dry shampoo gives my ponytail a better “base” so to speak.
After giving my roots a quick spritz, I gather my hair to put up into a high pony. I’m really channeling my inner Ariana Grande with this. I find that doing a high pony gives me a more polished, put together look. Since I have dark hair I use a black elastic. However, I do prefer the clear ones better because they make it easier when wrapping the hair around the base of the ponytail.
Now once my hair is up in the pony I’m going to secure the INH Hair extension pony tail to my own. There’s a piece of hair that’s not directly attached to the ponytail, it just kind of hangs there, and you will use that to wrap around the base of the ponytail to hide the elastic band.
I make sure I brush out the ponytail extension. My favorite thing about the INH ponytail is that the hair is such great quality. I’m using the style Miya, which is heat resistant (up to 400 degrees) but I find that I don’t ever really need to apply heat to it. Also just for reference I’m using the dark brown shade. If you’re unsure of what color you should get, you can message them on Instagram to help color match you for free. They’re so friendly and helpful!
When brushing your INH pony, you’ll want to lay the pony in a flat surface and brush in sections, slowly making your way to the base. Their website states that you’ll want to brush at the end and move up in sections towards the base. This particular ponytail is made with synthetic fibers so you have to brush the hair in way that won’t stretch the fibers; stretching the fibers can cause breakage and tangle the hair.
You’ll see there is a clip that you’re going to insert into the base of your natural pony. Once that is in, you will secure the “loose” hair around the base/elastic and secure with bobby pins.
And voila! It’s just that easy! Now I’m ready to rock this ponytail that literally took less then a minute!
Again you can check out INH Hair here. They usually have different coupon codes available on their site so be sure to check out what they have.
Have you used a clip in ponytail before? Let me know in the comments below. I’d love to hear your experiences.
Until next time,
Disclaimer: This is not a sponsored post however the ponytail was gifted to me. I only share items that I love and recommend.

I love INH! I have the Kennedy wig, and I want some more. A good majority of their website has been out of stock for weeks, sadly. I signed up for in-stock alerts, but ya girl needs some new hair lol
