Home Decor Highlights: Boho Style Home Decor for Under $40

If you’re like me right now, I’ve been aimlessly scrolling through Instagram, Pinterest and TikTok looking at home decor inspiration. What I’ve stumbled upon is that Walmart.com has some BOMB home decor pieces at some stellar prices. Who would have known?

Now I’ve found myself drawn to boho inspired living rooms and have I’ve been wanting to change up the the feel in my own home. I find the boho style to be cozy, laid back and inviting. Some of the pieces I was finding though were a little out of my budget. I’m someone who doesn’t like to spend too much on home decor because I find my style and taste change quite a bit.

I ended up going to Walmart.com because I wanted to get a pair of “mom” jeans. Hello, their jeans are actually amazing and the ones I get are under $20. And while I was browsing the site, I decided to look at their home decor. I wanted to share with you a couple of pieces I think are pretty good deals. The best part though? Everything is under $40! Score!

Boho Style Home Decor

1. Essential oil diffuser: $24.95

The essential oil diffuser I have at home right now is from Walmart and I love it! But now I’m thinking about adding this one to my home because of it’s crisp and clean look!

2. Better Homes and Gardens Sketch Diamonds Area Rug: $35.99

Let’s face it, rugs are expensive! This Better Homes and Gardens rug is not only stylish but also VERY affordable. It comes in different sizes and the price will vary depending on size.

3. The Stupell Home Decor Collection Boho Plant Art: $33.09

Hm hello, calling all Plant Moms!! This is a definite must have! I find myself constantly wanting to change out the art I have in my home and at this price point you can’t go wrong. It looks WAY more expensive than what it is priced out. Win-win!

4. Fringe Pillow: $19.88

I just ordered two of these and trust me when I say, you need them! I bought similar pillows from Home Goods for double the price and now I’m kicking myself! The quality for these pillows is A+, two thumbs up! And I mean, come on, look at how cute and stylish they are.

5. Ayesha Pantryware Small and Medium Metal Canister Set in Twilight Teal: $27.34

To mix in a little color, these twilight teal canisters are the perfect pop of color. I like having canisters like this in the living room as not only a decorative piece but as means to keep the room tidy. I would use the small one to house matches, candy, access batteries…you get the deal 😉  And at under $30, you get a set of two…major score!

6. Macrame Wall Hanging Woven Art: $29.99

What’s a little boho inspired post like this without macrame?! Now I know you could make your own macrame piece but if you’re like me that’s too much work! I am NOT a DYI queen. I don’t have the time or patience for it. Lucky for us non-DIY-ers we can always buy 😉
