Local Orlando Restaurants You Can Still Support During Social Distancing

I’ve definitely been taking the whole social distancing seriously. Our household stays pretty stocked so there hasn’t been a real need for us to go to the grocery store. We went a few days ago to get a few essentials we were low on like eggs, milk and bread. (However, I might have to make a trip tomorrow!)

One things that’s really been bumming me out during this ordeal is the hit that many small businesses around me are taking. Listen, I love Orlando. I love the community around me. A community that is welcoming. A community that is home. We all know that a lot of my free time is spent roaming around town. My favorite weekend activity is walking around Winter Park, heading up to Avalon (the store) and getting something to eat around the Mills/50 area.

With social distancing going on, these businesses that I love so dearly have to take a big hit. BUT you can still support them while being a responsible citizen! As many have stated on social media, you can purchase a gift card which you then can use at a later date. There are however some amazing places around town that are offering some good deals, have curb side pick up and free delivery fees on delivery platforms.

Here’s a list of some AWESOME Orlando restaurants that you can still support and show love to during social distancing. Also, if you use UberEats you can have the driver leave the food at your door!

1. Viet-Nomz: 2 locations- Winter Park and Waterford. Offering curbside pickup, delivery thru their own website, Uber Eats, DoorDash, Grubhub and Postmates. 10% off for healthcare and hospitality works.
2. Taglish: Curbside pickup and delivery on Uber Eats and Postmates.
3. Krungthep Tea Time: take out available and delivery via Uber Eats , Grubhub and DoorDash.
4. Pho Real: Take out and delivery online within 6 mile radius and $25 minimum
