I recently took a trip to one of my favorite malls here in Orlando, The Mall at Millenia. I went with the intentions of getting some shoes for an upcoming wedding I will be attending. Don’t worry guys, I got the shoes 🙂 (I made a quick trip to Chanel….Unboxing coming up!)
But of course, other shopping was done. I don’t always get to go into a physical Lush store so when I do, I jump at the chance! The Mall at Millenia recently added a Lush but unfortunately it’s one of the smallest Lush’s I’ve ever been in! They didn’t have too much of what I was looking for but I still managed to pick up a few things.
If you’re a Lush newbie, or just haven’t tried it yet, I highly suggest picking up the Mask of Magnaminty. The mix of China clay and peppermint work double time to clean out your pores. As someone who has acne prone skin, this mask does an incredible job at keeping my skin in tip-top shape. It has a clean and minty scent that leaves a refreshing feeling on your skin. If you have sensitive skin don’t be intimated or scared to try it! It’s actually very gentle and not as harsh as you may think it is.
This is actually my first time picking up the H’Suan Wen Hua Hair Treatment . I used it today and really like it so far. I need to use it some more of course to see how it really works and if it changes the condition of my hair. I do use a bit of heat on my hair (although I’ve been really trying not to) so my hair can be quite dry at times. You actually use this product before you shampoo or condition. So what I did was as soon as I got in the shower, I got my hair wet and applied this throughout my whole head. You massage into your scalp and mane and let it sit for about 20 minutes. This is definitely a product I would use for my more longer pamper routines. I left it in and went about with scrubbing, washing, shaving… the whole nine yards then washed it out and proceeded with the rest of my normal hair routine. As someone with unruly, tangly hair this product did a great job of detangling and taming my hair. It didn’t seem to weigh down my hair but I need to use it some more to see how I really like it and how it REALLY works.
Last but not least, I got the Percup Massage Bar. I actually use this particular massage bar to hydrate and smooth my skin. I use it around my thighs, back of my legs (and booty!). Because it has coffee beans in it, the caffeine helps smooth out cellulite and the coconut and jojoba oil gets your skin really nice and soft. You don’t necessarily have to use it for “massages”. This bar has a different use in my book.

Do you use that massage bar dry or wet?
I only recently got into LUSH, it’s still hit and miss for me. I really liked the one fresh mask I tried, called The Sacred Truth – it’s really hydrating and calming. I’m looking to try more of their fresh masks.
You use it dry. When you rub it on your skin, it sorta melts. I love their fresh masks too. I love the cupcake one they have, it’s great for acne prone skin. I’m not a huge fan of their soaps but everything else has worked out really well for me. Their shampoo, I love juicy, is a holy grail product for my oily hair ❤️
The Mall at Milena is one of my favorite places to shop when I’m in the Orlando area! I also love the mask of magnaniminty-I use it as a spot treatment whenever I get a blemish! I love seeing what other people get at Lush-Great read!
Hey Kimberly, Great blog post. My first product from lush was actually a The Mask Of Magnaminty. I suffered with awful acne and this has made a huge difference in skin appearance and it keeps the spots away 90% of the time. Xxx
Want to try Lust products one day soon, actually I visit yesterday in shop and tried to pick up something, but ofcourse I didn’t get any service in there so I didn’t know what to get. I’ve heard so much good about their hair washing products, maybe must try them out. 🙂
Yeah, me too!!! I only tried their bath bombs, and I love them, I’m trying to find more reviews about their hair products too, my hair getting a lot of split ends, and I tried few products but nothing really special, so not sure if I should invest more money buy something I’m not sure it’s going to work :(, I like going in there, but I can’t stay for a lot inside the shop, it smells nice but too much going on for my nose, so if someone doesn’t approach me from the staff, I watch and walk away. Lol
