If you only knew how badly I’ve been wanting to try this product! I saw it all over the internet. I saw other blogger’s rave about it and I knew I had to have it. For the longest time it was only available overseas but ALAS! Garnier’s micellar water has finally made it’s way to the USA.
I fee like unless you live under a rock, you may have heard of the French micellar water, Bioderma. To get your hands on it in the US though is a whole other story. When I was in New York, I was able to snatch one up in a Korean/Asian Beauty store. It’s pretty pricey and it didn’t pack the punch I was hoping for. I don’t know if maybe I set my expectations too high or if all that hype was just overrated raving for a product that’s not so easy for many people to get their hands on.
Either way, I wasn’t impressed and I was left wanting to try other micellar waters so that I could have something to rave about! When I finally got my hands on Garnier’s micellar water, I was excited but didn’t have high hopes. I was excited because I finally got my hands on something that was unavailable to me for the longest time! Am I the only one like that? lol 🙂
I didn’t have too high of hopes because I can be quite the critic when it comes to drugstore products. I don’t want to sound snobby, because I most definitely use drugstore products, but I’m a high-end luxury brand girl! Generally, I’m willing to pay more money for better quality. With that being said, Garnier’s micellar water blew me away! I don’t know the last time I was this impressed by a drugstore product! I believe it’s 1000x better than Bioderma. It removed all my makeup without stripping my skin and making me feel dry. In fact, my skin felt refreshed and softer after using it! I highly recommend it and can definitely say it’s well worth the money 🙂 It’s replaced my makeup removing oil and has now become a staple in my daily (evening) skincare routine.

You should definitely try it! I think it removes waterproof makeup wonderfully. I don’t have to rub too hard on my eye area to get my mascara off.
I wasn’t too impressed by Bioderma either. My favourite is Yves Rocher. I have yet to try the Garnier one but I’ve heard nothing but rave reviews. It’s on my list to buy once I finished some of my current stash! So happy for you that this is readily available. 🙂
Okay I’m glad I’m not the only one not impressed by Bioderma! haha. You need to try the Garnier one once you can! I’m so impressed by it and wish I could have had it sooner! 🙂

Sometimes with hi end brands like Gucci and B Brown Chanel you are paying only for the name. I don’t say they don’t have some win products. Like Chanel has good powders but their lipsicks are just like trash. Bobi Brown also has lots of misses in my opinion also Gucci and drugstore also has some win and some fail products. It is imoptant to find good items is it hi end or drugstore doesn’t matter for me. I really have many blog posts about drugstore items that every yt even Jeffree Star hi end gurrl has fell in love with. I find good items use them and make even better look with them than some hi end makeup artists with hi end makeup 😀 it is all about tracking good products. Btw I really enjoy Garnier for months now. It was winner for me the whole 2016 ?
