Valentines day is right around the corner (Hello, February will be here before we know it!) and finding the right gift for the man in your life can be stressful! So quick confession, I’m a sucker for Valentines day. There’s just something about the vibe that gets to me. And even if you’re someone that doesn’t have a man in your life, it’s still a great holiday to get together with the girls or friends and celebrate love! Today’s post will focus on my top picks for the guy you’re looking to get a present for. Later, I’ll have other gift guides for women and gal pals 😉
Gifts Under $25
- Bird Box, the novel, by Josh Malerman $10.48 : If you’re not living under a rock you’ve probably heard someone talk about the Netflix movie, “Bird Box”. Bird Box is a 2015 novel written by Josh Malerman that is sure to win over all those apocalyptic horror fans. And we all know that the book is always better than the movie.
- Beneath A Scarlet Sky, novel, by Mark Sullivan$7.50: If your guy is a historical fiction fan then this novel will surely win him over. Set in the WWII-era, this novel by Mark Sullivan follows an Italian teenager and his attempted escape of the war. With twists and turns and a lot of suspense this is a must read that will make a great gift for any book lover.
- Custom “Face” Socks, $15.95: Custom socks are just a fun gift! However, maybe avoid giving these to someone you JUST started dating ;D I’d pair these with some candy and it’s a pretty solid gift that anyone would like to receive. Everyone could do with some new socks, am I right?
Gifts Under $55
4. Jack Black Skin Savior Set, $35: Personally, I think Jack Black products are a great gift for any guy that’s into taking a little bit more care of himself. This travel set is wonderful for the guy on the go or maybe it’s a little hint that he can stay over a bit more 😉
5. Herschel Supply Co. Chapter Toiletry Case, $30.00: I think every man needs a good toiletry bag. Herschel Supply Co. has great quality products and a good price point. They also look modern and sleek and can work for any man. My husband has a stellar Herschel backpack that he uses for work and that thing has held up so nice. I definitely recommend anything from this brand.
6. Maggie Louise Confections, Love Story 9-Piece Chocolate, $38: If your dude likes fancy chocolate I definitely recommend this Valentine’s Day appropriate chocolate set. It’s different than the boxed chocolates you can pick up at Target or Walgreens. Not only are they adorable but they’re also delicious! A win-win!
Gifts Under $100
7. Christian Dior Sauvage Eau de Toilette, $77: My husband used to be a die hard Chanel Bleu fan, stating that it was his “signature” scent. But one day he tried Dior’s Sauvage while waiting for me in Ulta and he was intrigued. After that, everytime we went to Ulta he’d go to the cologne aisle to smell it again. This past Christmas I got it for him and he loves it. Just the other day he said that he prefers Sauvage over Bleu. The scent itself is very clean and masculine with top notes of bergamot. Highly recommend!
8. Tumi Delta ID Lock Shielded Slim Wallet, $85.00: A good wallet is always appreciated, This Tumi wallet will win over even the pickiest of guys. Plus with the Tumi ID lock technology, this wallet helps protect personal data that’s on card from electronic theft. Crafted from durable leather, the quality of this wallet is beautiful and is sure to last a long time.
Splurge Items Under $200
9. Levi’s Type 3 Faux Shearling Trucker Jacket, $128: For the guy that’s into fashion, this jacket is stylish and comfortable. I think finding the right jean jacket, no matter what gender, can be a hard task. I’m picky about jean jackets and I think that Levi’s really checks off all the right boxes with this one. It’s edgy yet still classic. The faux shearling adds a nice element that’s different from other jackets as well.
10. Nike React Element 55, $130: Sneaker heads this one’s for you! I think these Nike React’s are the perfect Valentine pair to give to your guy who loves sneakers. The red is appropriate for the holiday so it’s something that will remind him of the special holiday every time he wears them. The shoe itself is not only stylish but also comfortable.
11. Ted Baker London Trent Leather Watch, $ 175: Okay, I couldn’t end this list without a watch! I think a watch is without a doubt one of the best gifts you can give a guy. Ted Baker watches are some of the best watches you can get. I also think leather watches are a good choice for guys. I know my dad in particular prefers leather watches over metal ones because he says the metal ones can sometime pull on his arm hairs. This Ted Baker piece is classic and it’s minimalistic style can fit a number of different wardrobes.
There’s so many other great gifts out there but I wanted to share a range of items that were easily accessible. If money is tight, homemade gifts are always a wonderful option. If you’re a baker or just wanting to test your baking skills head over to Pinterest to find some holiday appropriate goods you could whip up.
I hope my guide gave you SOME ideas. Sometimes you just need a good starting point for ideas. Do you know what your getting the man in your life for Valentines? What is something you would recommend? I’d love to hear your thoughts below.
Until next time,
