#whatiworewednesday: off the shoulder casual + mini giveaway!

I’m a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl, through and through! There’s nothing a good pair of jeans can’t fix! Dress them up, dress them down denim is my go to. During the summer however, I stray away from denim a little bit because it’s so hot in Florida!

But every once and awhile I give in and bust out my jeans. When I’m wearing denim in the summer I have to make sure I’m wearing a very breathable, easy top.

Of course if you know me then you know my love for off the shoulder tops. My fiance makes fun of me and all my off the shoulder tops. I’ve acquired quite the collection if I do say so myself. I mean seriously though… I should stop.

But I’m not the biggest fan of sleeveless shirts so the whole off the shoulder trend is more comfortable to me. I’m showing a bit of skin without having my whole arm out. Like everyone else in the world, I have insecurities and my arms are one of them! I know I know, it may sound weird but it’s the truth.

I recently got with a personal trainer at my gym and one of the first things they ask is what body area are you looking to target and I immediately shouted, “ARMS!”.   So we’ll see how this works out….

 

OKAY GOING BACK to the actual subject of this post! lol I’m obsessed with this off shoulder top I picked up at Marshalls. It was super affordable, I think maybe $12.99? It’s a nice breathable material that’s perfect for this weather. My jeans are from Juicy Couture which I picked up at Kohls (currently on sale for under $40!). I actually buy the majority of my denim from Kohls. I love the Juicy Couture, Rock and Republic and LC by Lauren Conrad for jeans and jeggings. High quality jeans at super affordable prices? Sign me up please!

 

If you saw my last post, I posted a pic of my Louis Vuitton Pochette Metis! I’m so in love with this bag! It’s perfect for everyday use and is such a good size. I was afraid it was going to be too small but it works out beautifully for me. I mean I’ll admit it’s smaller than what I’m normally used to but I can still fit all my essentials in.

  9. Great look gurl, I’m from Philippines and summer has just ended here, hopefully. It was so hot that all I want to wear is maxi dress, they are comfortable, and I did anything I could not to wear jeans 😃

    • I lived in the Philippines for two years. I lived in dresses when I lived there as well! I don’t think I even owned jeans when I lived there lol

  21. Wow those jeans are a steal. I actually really love denim but it’s not easy finding ones that fit well. My weight fluctuates enough to basically go through jeans in various sizes, so I also don’t spend much on denim. These fit you so well and are a steal! 💕 Very chic babe!
